Companion - Non-ridden
Lead Rein - Suitable for use on a lead rein
1st Pony - Under 13hh that is suitable for a child just off the lead rein.
2nd Pony - Under 14.3hh, which may be more forward going.
Hack - Over 14.3hh only suitable for hacking.
Pleasure Competition - For novice to intermeidiate riding club (type) Level competition.
Competion - Advanced riding club (type) level and affiliated competition.
