ILPH Financial Reports - 2004

The total income for 2004 was £6.21m compared with £5.77m in 2003, a rise of 7.6%. Both years include sales of property – Cherry Tree Farm in 2004, which showed a net profit of £530,000 and in 2003: Little Canwood (net profit £207,000).

Overall direct charitable expenditure showed a 5.7% decrease to £3.85m. This was due to the savings achieved by the closure of Cherry Tree Farm, allowing us to concentrate resources on the other Recovery and Rehabilitation Centres. We again reduced the costs of Management and Administration which now account for 4.4% of total expenditure.

The money from the sale of Cherry Tree Farm has been invested in a separate fund pending the purchase of a new farm.
